'Creating for the Child, Picturing the Book' day conference with UK and French publishers, author-illustrator Marie Wabbes and authors of "The Bloomsbury Guide to Creating Illustrated Children's Books".

We have an exciting line up of authors, illustrators
and art directors including author-illustrator,
Marie Wabbes
who has produced 175 books
such as "Little Rabbit"; Desdemona McCannon,
Yadzia Williams
and Sue Thornton, author-illustrator professors who co-wrote "The Bloomsbury Guide
to Creating Illustrated Children's Books"
;
and Tiffany Leeson, Art Director of Egmont, UK.
They will share their experience, craft and tips.

In addition to a portfolio doctoring session, there will be individual reviews for picture book projects, manuscripts and/or portfolios.
